We offer a dependable and high quality rental fleet of road bikes and hybrids/city bikes. Whether you are visiting Denver and want a bike to get around the city or you want to tackle Lookout Mountain, we are your #1 source for your road bike rental needs.
Our rental bikes are newer model Specialized bikes that are serviced regularly to ensure safety and the best ride for our renters. The length of time for our rentals can be for a full or half day on the road bikes and a flat rate fee for hybrid/city bikes allowing you to keep it for a few hours or a full day. Please read our Rental FAQ's for further information.

Cycleton Rental FAQ's:
Q: Can I make a reservation on a rental(s) ahead of time for the date(s) I need it?
A: Yes! In fact, we encourage and recommend it. It is a good idea to call ahead and check on availability for the size and model (Allied, Tarmac, or Sirrus) and dates you are looking to rent. We will gladly take a reservation over the phone, however we do require a non-refundable deposit of $20. If you need to cancel for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.
Sizes Available for Rentals:
Tarmac & Allied: 52, 54, 56, & 58
Q: Do you provide equipment for the rental? For example, clipless pedals, helmets, lights, etc.?
A. We do not provide clipless pedals on rentals. All of our rentals come equipped with standard flat pedals. If you have a pair you would like to use, we will happily install them for you at no extra cost.
If there are any accessories or items that you typically like to use while riding, we strongly encourage you to bring them with you including shoes, pedals, lights, etc., since we do not provide them.
If you are unable to bring your own helmet, we can provide one for you at an additional cost. We can also provide a lock, a bike rack(sedan compatible model only), or a bike rack adapter at an additional cost as well.
With each rental, we do provide a flat kit in a saddle bag that includes a spare tube, levers, and a pump or Co2.
Q: What is the best way to transport the rental bike if I don't have a conventional bike rack?
A. It is very important to have secure transportation for the rental bikes. We, of course, prefer to see a rack on a potential renter's car, however as long as the vehicle has a place where the bike(s) will be secure, with restricted ability to move around when the vehicle is moving, that is acceptable. We do reserve the right to cancel rentals if we see that our bikes will be poorly transported. This protects us but also protects that renter as we do charge fees for damages to the bike.
If you do not have a bike rack, we do have a sedan style rack we can rent you. If you are driving an SUV or truck, we will help you, if needed, to properly store the bikes within the vehicle.
Q: Do you offer insurance on bike rentals?
A. We do not offer insurance on our rentals at this time. The renter assumes liability if the bike sustains any damages. A comfort to our renter's, however, is that we do take note on any previous damages on the bikes from prior renter's everytime they are returned.
Q: What kind of bikes does the rental fleet consist of?
A. We rent road bikes and city/hybrid bikes. At this time, we do not rent mountain bikes. Our road fleet consists of Specialized Tarmacs and Allied Alfa all-road bikes (Click HERE to learn more about the Allied.) We carry a wide range of sizes for the right fit. We also carry city/hybrid bikes for more casual riding. These bikes feature a simple, light design and single speed.
